Akzo Nobel Baltics AS primarily operates in the Baltic region and Ukraine, representing and producing two business lines: decorative and industrial paints, as well as wood adhesives. The company’s headquarters is in Tallinn and the production unit in Rapla. We are looking for a new team member to join Akzo Nobel Baltics’ decorative paints to work as a Category Manager for the Professional Segment (Sadolin Professional & Sikkens).

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing product categories targeted at the professional segment, aligning with the company’s overall strategy and goals.
  • Project management related to brand and product initiatives.
  • Collaboration with Market Managers in the Baltic and Ukrainian region, the global marketing team, design agencies, and the product technical support unit.
  • Preparation and delivery of product-related training, marketing and sales support material creation, budget management,
    and handling product-related inquiries.

We expect you to have:

  • A higher education and previous work experience in marketing, product management, or sales within a global company.
  • Knowledge of marketing and product management.
  • Theoretical and practical understanding of project management, and experience in managing cross-country projects are essential.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, along with the ability to inspire and engage team members as a project lead.
  • The role combines teamwork with independence, requiring effective planning, analysis, and focus on various time-critical projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English, as well as good communication skills in Russian, is necessary for the position.
