Manpower client Cytiva is a global provider of technologies and services that advance and accelerate the development and manufacture of therapeutics. Their customers undertake life-saving activities which range from fundamental biological research to developing innovative vaccines, biologic drugs, and novel cell and gene therapies.

Currently Cytiva is looking for two Field Service Engineers in Vilnius who are eager to join Nordic field service team with 16 engineers based in Sweden, Finland and Denmark and help the company to improve access to life-changing therapies that can transform human health.

You will be working in laboratories and pharmaceutical production plants on customer sites in Lithuania and across the region. Together with your colleagues you will be responsible for servicing and qualifying customer’s equipment consisting of biopharma equipment such as liquid chromatography systems (ÄKTA process, ÄKTA pilot, ÄKTA avant) and cell culturing equipment (XDR, WAVE). You will be expected to take part in our 24/7 on call service.

Typical tasks would be:

• Plan & perform preventive maintenance, repair and installation visits;
• Plan & perform qualifications (IQ/OQ);
• Promptly complete and return relevant paperwork (and electronic evidence) associated.

What makes you the best fit?

• Relevant technical or scientific education or experience;
• Experience in troubleshooting mechanics, electronics, software/computers/networks or fluid handling systems;
• Knowledge of chromatography or cell culturing products, laboratory environment would be considered as an advantage;
• Fluent in English and Lithuanian, both oral and written;
• Good communication and social skills;
• Effective organizational and administrative skills;
• Valid driving license;
• Ability to travel within Nordics and Baltics, EU work permission.

Monthly salary: approximately 4000 € gross (the final offer will depend on your experience).
