Manpower client is a Scandinavian logistics company which has offices in more than 20 countries in Europe. Company provides a wide range of freight-forward solutions by sea, road and air. Being fast, flexible and innovative they have an advantage in the market of logistics. Manpower Client has an office in Klaipeda and they are searching for a Business Development Director to boost the performance in local market.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Acting as a role model for the team by:
    • Developing the company and it is strategy;
    • Strengthening the position of the company in Lithuania`s market;
    • Boosting sales;
    • Direct communication, maintaining relationship with key accounts;
    • Analyzing the sales objects and making the needed adjustments and improvements.
  • Managerial tasks:
    • Managing a small team;
    • Reporting to line director and other managers;
    • Communication with other branches in a region about strategy, policies, procedures and other matters;
    • Other daily managerial duties.

Requirements:

  • Freight Forwarding background within Air- and Ocean freight, preferably with a proven commercial mind-set and experience;
  • 5-10 years of industry experience, some managerial experience is essential;
  • Experienced within business development with a entrepreneurial mind set;
  • Used to work in international work environment;
  • Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business;
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads;
  • Great leadership skills;
  • Communicative, self-disciplined, goal-oriented personality;
  • English and Lithuanian language skills is a must.
